Vigilante hackers target Tampa politicians in new book

The New Illuminati, which is available for purchase now on Amazon.com or at DavidMichaelHarding.com, is the latest novel from Harding, who also wrote the critically acclaimed book, How Angels Die. His latest two-part fictional thriller chronicles a successful software developer turned vigilante hacker who becomes fed-up with endless government corruption and decides to use his talents to expose injustice.

Assisted by a unique set of allies, which includes a Raymond James banker and a former Army Ranger, the group becomes caught in an escalating war of power and ethics.  While the book is based in Tampa, it follows a wild trail of corruption leading readers to Washington D.C. and beyond.

Just weeks after its release, The New Illuminati has captivated readers due to its eerie similarities to the current political landscape and the underlying vigilante theme loosely inspired by Harding’s own background.  Harding was a decorated New York State homicide investigator who wound up serving time in a maximum security New York prison after being interviewed for a job with the CIA.

During his interview process, Harding took a polygraph examination and disclosed that he had tampered with evidence in murder cases to get confessions. Throughout his four years behind bars, Harding served time alongside criminals he spent his career chasing, prominent mafia bosses, and even formed an unlikely friendship with the world-famous rapper, Tupac Shakur.
